As I did back in 2014 when this blog was just getting started and the World Cup was last going on, I just wanted to share my World Cup bracket with everyone. I’m not a huge soccer follower, but the World Cup only comes around every 4 years and when it’s going on, I watch. I think Argentina will come close to getting Lionel Messi his first World Cup title, but Neymar and the talented Brazilian team will win it all this year after letting everyone down last year with their 7-0 loss to Germany. Cristiano Ronaldo will also come close to his 1st World Cup win with Portugal, but they don’t have much talent surrounding Ronaldo, which will cause them to fall to Spain in Group B and lose against Brazil after being forced onto Brazil’s side of the bracket. Meanwhile, I don’t even know if it’s a given that Germany makes it out of Group F. I see them as one of the most overrated teams in this tournament. I think Panama is extremely underrated could make an unexpected run.

Unfortunately, USA didn’t make the cut this year, but hopefully they can find a new coach and make their way into the 2022 tournament. Comment with your World Cup Predictions, and stay tuned for my new Baseball Bits coming this weekend.
