Game Of the Year? Pats-Giants Preview

The Patriots and Giants rivalry continues tonight at 4:25.  The Pats and Giants have quite the history, starting with Super Bowl XLII, putting an end to an 18-0 stretch for the Patriots.  It continued in 2011.  The Pats beat the Giants in their regular season game but the Giants returned to get a surprise Super Bowl XLVI win over the 13-3 Pats.  The Giants had only gotten the 6th seed, with a 9-7 season record, but they always seem to have it going against the Pats.

Well, today, the Pats are coming off DeflateGate and are 8-0 and counting on their Revenge Tour.  If the Giants ruin another undefeated season, Pats fans will go nuts.  Brady and crew should be fired enough to challenge the Giants, especially because they helped get the Pats in trouble in the first place.  So, they’ll be especially fired up.  This is a very important game, but Week 12 and the playoffs are just as important, so it’s one of the games of the year.  If your a Pats diehard, you’d say every one is.

These modern Patriots are finally at least challenging the Giants to the throne of the northeast, and the fans of western Connecticut.  So, are you ready?  Lets go Pats!!!!

My Pick: 34-30 Patriots

Three Keys

  1. The Giants will make sure to cover Gronk, so it’s key that they throw to their receivers, and not just the Gronkinator.
  2. The Pats have to stop the run.  Shane Vereen, Rashad Jennings or whoever it is needs to go down.
