The Red Sox finally began to sell but suprisingly also buy with the trade deadline to end July.They began with Jake Peavy on Saturday than started out today by trading Felix Doubront to the Cubs for an unknown player.Then,they traded Jon Lester and Jonny Gomes to Oakland for home run derby back to back champion Yoenis Cespedes.They also traded Stephen Drew to New York and Andrew Miller to Baltimore.Finally,they traded John Lackey to St. Louis for Allen Craig and Joe Kelly.I think that the Sox lineup will look like

Bogaerts,SS,Middlebrooks,3B,Vazquez,C.Carp is still on the bench along with Allen Craig,David Ross,Jackie Bradley Jr. and Daniel Nava.So,I was right that it wouldn’t be all prospects and I predict that the Red Sox will finish with a record of 85-77.What happened to the Red Sox since last year? They had to have the health,stats and every player they had last year.Everyone played better then ever and nobody thought they would win last year.What people thought would happen last year happened this year and what I predicted this past March is now a 2015 prediction,it’s still active for next year.So,maybe the Red Sox can make it over .500 but have no chance at the playoffs unless Cespedes plays better than ever.
