Eating 61 Hot Dogs in 10 Minutes,Joey Chestnut beat Matt Stonie in the hot dog eating contest.Stonie got 2nd place with 56 hot dogs.Third was a guy they call Eater X,who ate 44 hot dogs.I ate a hot dog for lunch today and I finished it in 4 minutes!Today’s hot dog eating contest was effected by Hurricane Arthur’s downpour and it became harder to eat the hot dogs.Last year on a sunny day Joey Chestnut ate 69 who has been champion for 8 straight years to end a 6 year streak.Matt Stonie had the lead,but struggled late into it and cheated by two hot dogs.The normal stomach can only eat 1 liter at a time before they get nauseous and know they need to stop but competitive eaters learn to ignore nausea and eat up to 3 more liters before stopping.The hot dog eating contest had some suprisingly fit people as well including a guy who eats only prosseced food.
