8 years ago, I had one of my first real experiences as a sports reporter when I was sent by the Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism to cover two sponsored golfers at the Special Olympics USA Games in Seattle. This trip was my first time writing, shooting, and editing my own sports stories live on scene, and I am forever grateful to the Foundation for helping kickstart this journey.

After a return to the USA Games in 2022, I’ve had the chance over the last four years to continue to grow as a sports broadcaster, talk radio host, and reporter all while continuing to build on my community service efforts as a Park Scholar at Ithaca College, where I built on my reporting skills through courses like Visual Journalism, Sports Publications, and Sportscasting.

I am proud to announce that after graduating from Ithaca with a bachelor’s degree in sports media, I will be headed to Minneapolis later this month to cover a third straight Special Olympics USA Games! Below is a link to the page where all my coverage will be located:

2026 USA Games

I’d like to thank Nick Savarese, Liz Monroe, and everyone else at the Flutie Foundation for making this opportunity possible once again!
