In the 2nd inning of last night’s Red Sox game Yankees starting pitcher Michael Pineda was caught with pine tar on his neck and on his balls by Red Sox manager John Farrell.Pineda rubbed his neck with the ball so it affected his pitches making them land in unusual places.The Red Sox caught Pineda and the Yanks by winning the game 5-1 while John Lackey had a good day as the only starter left in the game.He lasted nearly 7 innings where Pineda only lasted 2.The Red Sox definetly got the Yankees back for cheating.They won and Pineda will be suspended for at least 10 games.The Yanks can’t even replace him and must survive a 4 man rotation.
